This was the first version taking a rather conventional advertising approach to interpreting the brief: text was adapted to meaning and manipulated using Type Touch Tool and outlines. The ‘O’ in love inverts the conventional heart to reflect Caland’s more palyful sexual approach. The image was traced with limited and added cutout and watercolour filters applied to make it lively and vibrant. For the colour blockj I chose one of Caland’s own complementary colours.
