- angry images of Basquiat, Tracey Emin and Louise Bourgeois
- graphic narrative styles of Dave McKean and Shaun Tan
- Japanese dark styles of Daido Moiyama, Koichi Yamamoto, Hiroshi Sagamoto and other black and white photographers
- African
- Middle East political street art
- African geometric design
